Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac have increased the fees on the secondary market for the purchase of bulk loans. This means higher fees passed to the customers (YOU) in the form of higher interest rates. Just as the Federal Reserve announced that they would be dropping the rates charged on money lent to the banks, we are probably not going to see returns on this in the near future.
